Sportsbook and casino overview
Bovada’s official help page presents sports, casino, live casino, poker and horse-racing sections. It says US residents are accepted subject to listed location exclusions. The page describes offshore regulation; this profile does not present Bovada as a state-licensed US sportsbook.
US location and eligibility
The operator’s restricted-location page lists Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia and Washington, DC. Washington, DC appears twice under different spellings in the source and is consolidated here. This is the operator’s access policy, not a determination of state law.
What the official sources establish
The restricted-location help page is more recent than the older terms PDF surfaced during research. Use the current restrictions page when comparing these sources; an older, shorter state list should not override it. Contact support about an existing balance when a location becomes restricted.
Compare markets and settlement
Check the exact league, event and market before comparing prices. A moneyline, spread, total and player prop settle differently. Read whether overtime counts, which official statistics determine the outcome and how postponements, abandoned events or participant withdrawals are handled. This guide does not publish live odds or suggest a bet.
Keep sports and casino promotions separate
A sportsbook reward and a casino match can have different qualifying deposits, eligible games, expiry dates and withdrawal conditions. Do not add their headline values together or assume that casino play meets a sports rollover requirement. No current welcome amount is promised in this profile.
Account and payment checks
Compare the permitted deposit and withdrawal methods, identity checks, processing conditions and account controls. For a digital-asset transfer, confirm both the asset and the supported network. Do not infer fees, payout speed or withdrawal approval from the availability of a cashier method.
